I am a postdoc at the department of mathematic at KTH within the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program working with Katharina Jochemko. Before, I was a postdoc in the number theory group at EPFL working with Maryna Viazovska, and an ICERM semester postdoc at Brown University. In 2017, I completed my PhD at the University of Cologne, advised by Frank Vallentin.
Besides math, I am also passionate about indoor and outdoor bouldering (check out our YT channel), hiking, and knitting.
- Optimization (in particular, semidefinite and polynomial optimization)
- Discrete geometry (in particular, packing and energy minimization)
- Real algebraic geometry (in particular, sum-of-squares approximations to nonnegative polynomials)
